1. Introduction

Be-Picked ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and protects your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you visit be-picked.com, take our assessments, join our programs, appear on or listen to our shows, or contact us (together, the "Services").

2. Important Notice for Regulated Professionals

If you are an attorney, healthcare provider or other regulated professional:

  • You are responsible for meeting your own legal and ethical obligations, including HIPAA, state privacy laws and professional rules.

  • Our forms, assessments and programs are built for information about your practice, not about your clients.

  • Please do not send us protected health information (PHI) or confidential client information.

  • We do not act as a Business Associate under HIPAA unless we agree to that in a separate written agreement.

3. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide

  • Name, email address, phone number and contact details

  • Business and professional information, such as your firm, practice area, city and website

  • Your answers to the AIthority Assessment, the AQ quiz and other questionnaires

  • Information you give us for an AIthority Audit, consulting or a program such as the AIthority Bootcamp

  • Podcast and live show details, such as your bio, headshot, episode pitch and answers to guest questions

  • Messages you send us through forms, email or scheduling tools

  • Device and browser data

  • Pages visited, time on site and how you arrived

  • Cookie data, described in section 9

c. Payment Information

Payments for programs and services are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide our assessments, audits, programs and consulting

  • Send your assessment results and the materials you request

  • Schedule and prepare podcast and live show appearances

  • Send educational content, newsletters and updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time

  • Respond to your questions and requests

  • Improve our website and Services

  • Comply with legal obligations

5. AI Tools

Some of our Services use artificial intelligence. For example, an AIthority Audit asks AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude the questions your clients ask, to see how they describe your business.

  • We use only public information about your business for this work, such as its name, website and location.

  • Information processed by AI tools is handled under those providers' terms.

  • AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. We review them before they reach you, and they are not legal or professional advice.

6. Podcast, Live Show and Public Content

When you are a guest on the Be-Picked Podcast, Be-Picked Live or another of our shows:

  • Your name, bio, image, voice and what you say may be recorded and published on our website, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, LinkedIn and other podcast platforms and directories.

  • Recordings and clips may be shared on social media and indexed by search engines.

  • Recordings are made with Riverside. By recording an episode with us, you agree that it may be published as described here.

The details you give us through our guest form and scheduling page are used only to prepare your episode and are not published.

Comments you post during a live show on LinkedIn or YouTube are public and governed by that platform's policies.

7. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Services, including website hosting (Squarespace), our academy, forms and email (Kajabi), scheduling (Calendly), guest questionnaires (Google Forms), recording (Riverside), analytics (Google Analytics and PodPitch) and video hosting (YouTube)

  • Payment processors

  • Platforms where we publish shows you appear on

  • Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires

We do not sell your personal information.

8. Data Retention

We keep information as long as we need it to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Published episodes stay available unless we agree to remove them.

9. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand how visitors use it, including through Google Analytics. We also use PodPitch, a visitor analytics service, to understand which organizations visit our site so we can follow up about podcast and speaking opportunities. Embedded content, such as YouTube videos and podcast players, may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Services

Our shows are distributed through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon and many other podcast platforms and directories, and our website links to and embeds services such as LinkedIn. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

12. Your Rights

You may request access to your information, correction or deletion, and information about how your information is used. You can stop marketing email at any time with the unsubscribe link in any message. Contact: contact@be-picked.com

Our Services are for adults and are not directed to individuals under 18.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept it.

Connecticut (CTDPA). If you are a Connecticut resident, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling.

Your rights under GDPR. You may have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (the "right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time.
